New aerial photos of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland

The 14-acre expansion of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland has been welcoming guests since the end of May. Many of comments from guests who have visited so far focus on how large the space is and how you really feel transported from the world of Disneyland to a Star Wars inspired planet.

A new set of aerial images, courtesy of Nearmap, include a look at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland with guests visiting. The photos were captured on July 4 and even on that traditionally very busy day at the park, the land does not look all that busy.

Nearmap also shared this wonderful aerial shot of Disneyland’s central hub. Notice how the new blue roofing of Sleeping Beauty Castle really pops.

Previous satellite provided aerial views of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland were shared on:

February 2019
September 2018
July 2018
November 2017
September 2016

Definitely fun to look back to the beginning and see the transformation happen over time.
