It’s almost time for the Oscars on ABC. The team at Oh My Disney is pretty happy that Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia” was nominated for Best Animated Feature. They put their creative minds together and have given us the gift of laughter in the… Read More »Posters from Zootopia parody Oscar nominated films
Presenting the official theatrical poster for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” That certainly fits in with the tradition of recent Star Wars movie posters. I like how the poster shows the opposing forces of dark side and the light as the Force awakens along with… Read More »Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Poster
Update: New “Fight for Tomorrow” trailer for Disney’s Tomorrowland has just been released. Check out the exciting escape sequence right in the middle:
As the saying goes, you ain’t seen nothing yet. A special presentation of the film, featuring more than six minutes of footage introduced by director Brad Bird, will screen exclusively in IMAX theatres domestically and in select international markets beginning May 1. The extended first look of Tomorrowland will screen directly prior to Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and will play for the duration of that film’s run in IMAX.
Additionally, Disney just released four brand new character posters for “Tomorrowland” feature George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy and Thomas Robinson. They’ve also shared a fantastic IMAX poster for the film.
Two of the posters are actually for the same character. Thomas Robinson plays the boy genius Frank and George Clooney plays the older Frank.
Also, a little birdie tells me that the movie will have its world premiere on May 9th at Disneyland, complete with red carpet and celebrities. Usually when Disney has these, there are some limited space for park guests to line up for autograph and photograph opportunities. Nothing is officially confirmed at this point, however.
With “Tomorrowland” possibly premiering in Tomorrowland, could this also be the perfect time for Disneyland to announce the rumored makeover coming to Tomorrowland? The movie certainly gives a template to follow, or they could just go whole hog Star Wars…
More posters and the plot synopsis below the jump:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is due in theaters on April 4, 2014, and Marvel has released some new posters to promote the film.
The main poster features Chris Evans as Captain America flanked by Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow. In the background are Sebastian Stan as Bucky “The Winter Soldier” Barnes and Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce.
Sadly, no love for Anthony Mackie’s The Falcon on this poster.
Hang on to your hats and glasses everyone, there’s a new “Payoff” poster out for Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World.” It features Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins and more in what is now a standard ‘assembled cast’ motif for Marvel’s Super Hero films.
The Lone Ranger will ride into theaters on July 3rd and everyone will see if Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp can recapture the magic of the early Pirates of the Caribbean films. In the meantime, we get our first look at a new poster for the film today and Yahoo Movies has released a teaser trailer to the pre-game Super Bowl ad coming this weekend:Read More »New Poster and Trailer for The Lone Ranger
