A big night for Disney at the Primetime Emmy Awards tonight. Congratulations to the team at Disney Television who brought home 5 Emmy’s tonight. For the third year in a row, Modern Family on ABC was one of the big winners with four Emmys awarded. Tom Bergeron also got some gold for his role as host on Dancing With The Stars.

This week two of my favorite current obsessions come together. ABC’s Modern Family, the funniest show on TV, and the original Disneyland come together in a special episode. Sound Familiar?
Phil tries to keep up with Luke, Claire’s shocked when they run into Dylan, Jay and Gloria disagree about what are sensible shoes for the day, and Mitch and Cam must contain Lily’s new affinity for running. I was able to watch a bit more of the episode in preview and trust me, they don’t pull many punches. This “Modern Family,” episode airs Wed May 9 (9:00-9:31 p.m. ET/PT), on the ABC Television Network.
This was the episode they filmed in and around the Leap Day fun at Disneyland. Check out the preview of the episode below the jump and watch for the guest control very obvious in the background:
