Narnia News from the old gray lady

The New York Times has an interesting article on the musical promotion of Disney’s upcoming film based on the Narnia books by C.S. Lewis. They’ve released an album of songs inspired by the movie, but so far no soundtrack. Apparently this has something to do with aiming for the religous audience.

I think they’re forgetting their core base here. That being the legion of fantasy fans who made the Lord of The Rings series so successful. The Greatest Movie Ever Made?

Well the greatest ‘golf’ movie, maybe. At least Shia LaBeouf, star of Disney’s "The Greatest Game Ever Played", thinks so. "Every golf film before ours was garbage, except for ‘Caddyshack’ and ‘Billy Madison,’ which were parodies," he said in a recent telephone interview. "Movie golf was boring to me. It didn’t look interesting at all.… Read More »The Greatest Movie Ever Made?
