Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Episode 3 Preview – The Asset

Disney Marvel Shield

Previously, on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D:

The team went to Peru to figure out what the 0-8-4 is.

On the way, Skye begins questioning her place on the team, as do some of her teammates.

In Peru they find the object in question. We then get our first glimpse of Coulson’s backstory in the form of Camilla Reyes, who he had a past relationship with.

A fire fight with local rebels forces both Coulson’s team and Reyes’ team back on the bus (their name for the plane) and in the air. Fitz-Simmons discovers that the 0-8-4 is a weapon that is fueled the same way the Tesseract is.

At the same time, Coulson and Ward discover that Reyes and her team aren’t as friendly as they seem. They knock out May, capture the rest of team and take over the bus.

Coulson is with his old flame, but the others are tied up in the cargo bay. As a team, they break free and save Coulson and the bus.

The episode ends with a great cameo from Samuel L. Jackson.

T-Shirt Trouble, Sort of

Followers of this blog know that I keep an eye out for any new t-shirts Disney sells at the parks. They’ve actually been pretty good about releasing humorous or trendy graphics on a regular basis. Summer has always been a slow time for new releases, but like a charm, on my first post summer visited I spotted these three new t-shirts.

The first appears to be an import from Disneyland with an unfortunate message. The whole thing of ‘it’s a small world’ is the possibility of world peace, and yet, Disney’s t-shirt team wants you to conquer the ride. That’s a bit to war-monger-y for me. A better word would be ‘survived.’

This next shirt would look a lot better if the earful tower was there instead of that awful hat.Read More »T-Shirt Trouble, Sort of

Videopolis: The Making of Disney MGM Studios

Here’s a little blast from the past; a video from 1989 that details the making of Disney-MGM Studios. The park, even with a new name, has lost touch with the original vision articulated in that video. We keep hearing rumors about how Disney’s Hollywood Studios… Read More »Videopolis: The Making of Disney MGM Studios

Your Disney Memories.

SeaWorld’s Free Halloween Party Returns

SeaWorlds-Halloween-Spooktacular-med

Only one of the big three parks in Orlando offers a Halloween party that’s free with the price of admission. The family friendly Halloween Spooktacular is full of spooky fun. During this daytime event, families will be immersed in an underwater “fantasea” filled with trick-or-treating, dancing with sea fairies and pumpkin fish and sea-themed arts and crafts. My family and I enjoy the party-like atmosphere as much as the bigger pay events at the other parks in town.

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular takes place weekends in October: 5-6, 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27, from 12 to 8 p.m., leaving the littlest of trick-or-treaters wide-eyed for all of the fun-filled activities. When you’re there, make sure you take advantage of this social media promotion, you could end up with some cool VIP treats.

Spooktacular Highlights below the jump:
