Women’s Murder Club: And the Truth Will (Sometimes) Set You Free

I really didn’t know where they were going to go with this episode. I mean, not only are we dealing with a murder, but we were dealing with accusations of rape. I was afraid this would give us opportunities for politically correct lecturing. And yet they didn’t. They told us a great story that kept me guessing the entire way.

Dancing with the Stars – Week Eight Results and Episode 100

I haven’t had a chance to watch the judge’s top 10 dances yet, but I did enjoy the jam packed, takes an hour to plug it, 100th episode.

I’m not going to give a blow by blow of the evening. I will say, however, that I watched more than I normally would. It was fun to see so many former contestants come back whether they were interviewed or actually danced. Anton and Julianne’s dance was incredible. And Mel and Maks’ dance was fun but extremely short. At least I’m guessing that it was short by how much of the band they showed.

Dancing with the Stars – Lifts and the One Armed Man

5 stars.  Two new to them dances. 10 dances and 10 lifts. I had forgotten about the 1 lift per dance rule from last week. But I would be willing to bet anything that every star will include a lift in each of their routines. They’d be crazy not to since everyone else will do it.

Shall we see if I’m right?Read More »Dancing with the Stars – Lifts and the One Armed Man

Women’s Murder Club: Father’s Day

The writer’s strike is over, and shows are returning. At least the established favorites. This year’s freshman shows either are on hold until next fall or are canceled. The only freshman show I know of that got any new episodes is Women’s Murder Club. ABC is giving it three new episodes with a new show runner before they decide whether to cancel it or bring it back. Tonight was the first of those. And it reminded me just why I love the show so much.Read More »Women’s Murder Club: Father’s Day

Dancing with the Stars – The Pressure Builds

Welcome to week seven of this season. And if the stars weren’t under enough pressure before, they’ll definitely be under pressure tonight as they have to do two dances each. Fortunately, they have six weeks of experience behind them now. Still, it is always interesting to see how well they compete at this point in the season.

Up first are the ballroom dances, so let’s get to it.Read More »Dancing with the Stars – The Pressure Builds

Dancing with the Stars – The Second Half Begins

So we’re off and running on the second half of the season tonight as the stars start filling in the gaps with dances they haven’t done yet. And we get the first group dance of the season (didn’t they only do one last season?) which has a Country theme this time. Those are always fun.

But the real question on everyone’s mind is, Will Kristi finally get a 30? There’s only one way to find out. Let’s get to it, shall we?Read More »Dancing with the Stars – The Second Half Begins
