Dancing with the Stars 6.6 Results

Time to eliminate one more star. Since I have nothing witty to say, it’s getting late, and I’m tired, shall we cut to the cut?

Encore: Okay, we aren’t quite cutting to the cut. As soon as the stars walked out, I knew I was right. The judges decided the encore should be the big group number. And guess what? It’s still absolutely fun.

I could tell that Shannon was upset during the critique, but I am amazed at just how upset she was. And Derek was giving the judges what for, too. I agree that it seems the judges are ignoring most of the lifts (and I’m seeing plenty). Of course, Shannon and Derek did apologized when given the chance tonight. And they were saved, so we’ll see what they come up with next week.

I’m relieved to report that I can go shopping all week because Cristian is not in the bottom two. So there’s no fear of Len running following through on his threat. Phew.

The Bottom Two:
Marlee Matlin & Fabian Sanchez
Mario & Karina Smirnoff

I knew right away my prediction wasn’t going to be 100% correct since they told us first thing that Shannon was safe. However, I never in a million years saw Mario as being in the bottom two. He was in second with the judges. I know we’ve had people half way up the leader board in the bottom two, but I do think this is a first. You should have seen my jaw drop when I heard.

It was no shock who left, however. I did get that part correct. Unfortunately. I have loved watching Marlee dance. She has blown me away every night. And her positive, can do attitude is an inspiration. I never thought she’d make it all the way to the end. But I will miss seeing her every week.
