Showing the power of sisterly love will persevere, Disney has announced a “Frozen” holiday special is being produced for next year’s holiday season. The special is currently untitled, but it promises to bring back Olaf, Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Sven for the holiday adventure.
The 2017 special will see the return of Prep & Landing directors Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton. Roy Conli, who produced Disney’s Big Hero 6, will also be on the project. Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, and Josh Gad are also scheduled to reprise their voice roles.
Since it’s theatrical debut back in 2013, Disney has released a “Frozen” themed short, “Frozen Fever,” announced a theme park show at Disney California Adventure,a “Frozen Ever After” theme park attraction at EPCOT, and a Broadway musical.
