Update: New “Fight for Tomorrow” trailer for Disney’s Tomorrowland has just been released. Check out the exciting escape sequence right in the middle:

As the saying goes, you ain’t seen nothing yet. A special presentation of the film, featuring more than six minutes of footage introduced by director Brad Bird, will screen exclusively in IMAX theatres domestically and in select international markets beginning May 1. The extended first look of Tomorrowland will screen directly prior to Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and will play for the duration of that film’s run in IMAX.
Additionally, Disney just released four brand new character posters for “Tomorrowland” feature George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy and Thomas Robinson. They’ve also shared a fantastic IMAX poster for the film.
Two of the posters are actually for the same character. Thomas Robinson plays the boy genius Frank and George Clooney plays the older Frank.
Also, a little birdie tells me that the movie will have its world premiere on May 9th at Disneyland, complete with red carpet and celebrities. Usually when Disney has these, there are some limited space for park guests to line up for autograph and photograph opportunities. Nothing is officially confirmed at this point, however.
With “Tomorrowland” possibly premiering in Tomorrowland, could this also be the perfect time for Disneyland to announce the rumored makeover coming to Tomorrowland? The movie certainly gives a template to follow, or they could just go whole hog Star Wars…
