All this time I’ve been a Disney fan and I had no idea that there was an official ceremony for adding a princess to the Disney Princess Court. This October 2nd, for the first time an event called ‘Rapunzel’s royal celebration’ will take place at Kensington Palace in London, UK. Girls from across the globe & every Disney princess character will join the festivities. Well, I guess if Disney thinks it will sell more merchandise, then I’ll go along with it.

We’re just a few hours away from the deadline to enter my giveaway of the exclusive Disney Store Vinylmation Villains Series figures. Fans of Disney’s latest collectibles craze, the Mickey Mouse shaped Vinylmation series, stay tuned. I have been sent a very special sneak peek at the Vinylmation Villains series created especially for The Disney Store and DisneyStore.com. The new series will be available beginning January 31, 2011.
The eleven figures assembled in Villains Series #1 are: Ursula, Prince John, Banzai, Mim, Kaa, Cruella De Vil, Steam Boat Pete, Old Hag, Stromboli, Shan Yu, Ratcliff. Of course there’s also the elusive chaser. Suggested retails price for all the 3 inch figures is $9.95.

TRON: Legacy doesn’t hit theaters until December 17th, but fans of the TRON films can get their fill of merchandise from the film beginning November 19th at a special Pop-up Shop in Colver City, CA. The store will have a six-week run and feature special merchandise available only at this location as well as other unique roll outs. Additionally there will be a cafe and art exhibit.
