Once Upon a Time in Wonderland Pilot Preview

Once-Upon-a-Time-in-Wonderland

It’s the series premier I’ve been most looking forward to all season, and it’s happening Thursday at 8/7C!

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is the spin off from ABC’s Once Upon a Time. Unlike other spin offs, we aren’t losing any characters from the mother program. However, we have been to Wonderland a couple of times before.

This series will tell it’s own story not necessarily tied in to the original. But it will have the Once twist on the classic story. Alice is older and while on her trip to Wonderland, she meets a genie and falls in love. However, she witnesses the genie be killed before she returns to our world.

Early Season 3 Once Upon a Time Casting Change

The season finale of Once Upon a Time was just this last Sunday, and we already have some news on the cast. It even answers the question of where Red/Ruby was during the group scenes Sunday night.

It seems that Meghan Ory will not be part of the main credits cast this next year. She has landed a part of the new CBS show Intelligence according to TV Guide. There, she will be co-starring with Lost alum Josh Holloway and CSI alum Marg Helgenberger.

Somehow, I missed that bit of casting news when I was looking at the news shows for next season. While it does explain the mystery of where her character has been, I’m sad to see her go. I loved the character and how she interacted with the rest of the cast.

Castle 5-24: Watershed

When I realized where Castle was going with these last few episodes, I figured it would end in a couple of different ways. And they chose one of my options. Seriously, if you’d made me guess, last night ended how I thought it would. And I’ll be interested to see how they play out the cliffhanger next season. I mean, I know what will happen, but I am interested to see how the characters get there.

And also of note, this is the first season finale that hasn’t once mentioned Beckett’s mother’s murder. Of course, there isn’t much left to do there – just take down the Senator.

We’re going to discuss this in two parts. There’s the case of the week and then Beckett’s job interview. We’ll start with the murder.Read More »Castle 5-24: Watershed

Once Upon a Time 2-22: And Straight on ‘Til Morning

Somehow, I had forgotten that they were advertising the season finale of Once Upon a Time as devastating. When I was reminded of that tonight, I started to worry. What were they planning to do to the characters and therefore to us?

Fortunately, it wasn’t as devastating as I had feared. But it certainly is going to be a very long summer until it comes back.

As always, let’s start with our flashback – this time completely in Neverland.Read More »Once Upon a Time 2-22: And Straight on ‘Til Morning

Castle 5-23: The Human Factor

I’m back in town after spending a few days away and still trying to catch up. Yes, that is why my recap for Castle hasn’t been posted yet. I did get a chance to watch the episode on Tuesday.

And some of the details have faded, so this is going to be a bit more general than I normally do.Read More »Castle 5-23: The Human Factor
