The Details

The series will debut all seven episodes on Disney+ on May 4, but for those who don’t subscribe to the streamer, the series will also debut the same day, simulcast at the same time, on the Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD channels.

On those three channels, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” will debut on May 4, with two episodes starting at 9am EDT/8am CDT (and 9am MDT/8am PDT).

Then the show moves to Fridays, with single episodes airing at 9am EDT on Disney Channel and then at 7:30pm EDT on Disney Junior.

Each episode will contain two stories featuring the Jedi younglings Kai, Lys, and Nubs, and their friends Nash and droid RJ-83, along with Master Yoda.

The Series

Set during the High Republic era and the prime of the Jedi Order, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” follows Jedi younglings as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, help citizens and creatures in need, and learn valuable skills needed to become Jedi along the way.

The High Republic is set centuries before the events of “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace,” if you’re wondering about the timeline.

The voice cast includes Jamaal Avery, Jr. as Kai Brightstar, Juliet Donenfeld as Lys Solay, Dee Bradley Baker as Nubs, Emma Berman as Nash Durango, Jonathan Lipow as RJ-83, and Piotr Michael as Master Yoda.
