Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto has announced he will be visiting his Morimoto Asia restaurant at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World this weekend.
Chef Morimoto will be visiting Morimoto Asia this Sunday, August 14, and Monday, August 15, during regular service hours.
He’ll be mingling with guests while lending a hand in the kitchen and the sushi bar, and he will be available for meet and greet opportunities.
The chef is in town to celebrate two exciting promotions on Morimoto Asia’s culinary team:
Chef Yuhi Fujinaga has been promoted to Culinary Director for all of Patina Restaurant Group’s Orlando concepts.
Chef Fujinaga will continue to oversee Morimoto Asia in his new role, where he will bring his experience creating unique and innovative dishes and flavors to all Patina concepts across Orlando.
The second promotion is Chef Takeshi Ikeuchi, who has been promoted from Executive Sous Chef to serve as the Executive Chef of Morimoto Asia.
Congratulations to both!
About Morimoto Asia
Morimoto Asia opened in 2015 at Disney Springs. It sits in the reconstructed building that once held Mannequins nightclub at Pleasure Island.
The restaurant’s 36-foot tall, two-story layout includes lounges, private dining spaces, and a glass-encased kitchen that gives guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the culinary action.
This pan-Asian dining destination at Walt Disney World offers a mouth-watering menu featuring traditional items such as Peking duck carving and dim sum, along with noodle dishes, bao, and more.
Reservations are a must, and can be made at MorimotoAsia.com.
