Walt Disney World to Start Selling Annual Passes Again

Walt Disney World Annual Passes

Walt Disney World has announced that it will resume selling annual passes later this month, which is something Guests have constantly been asking for.

The Details

New sales of the Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Pirate Pass will resume starting April 20, 2023, and can be purchased online “no earlier than 6am ET,” according to Walt Disney World. Disney had suspended sales of these three passes in November 2021.

The Disney Incredi-Pass is the top tier pass, and is the only annual pass available to all Guests.

Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members will have the opportunity to purchase a DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass online beginning April 13, 2023 as part of Membership Magic.

Currently, only the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is available to purchase, and it is only for Florida Residents for use on weekdays except blockout dates.

On April 20, current Pixie passholders will be able to upgrade their pass to a higher level pass (even if outside renewal window). They will pay the price difference in full, keep the same expiration date, and will not be eligible for the renewal discount at that time.

Of course, Disney says “the quantity of passes will be limited and passes, or a pass type, may become unavailable for purchase at any time.”

New Benefits

The good news is that all passes purchased beginning April 20 are immediately eligible for new member benefits that were announced earlier this year.

Passholders already receive access to select Disney PhotoPass benefits (age restrictions apply) and, beginning April 18, Annual Passholders can visit the theme parks after 2pm without needing a park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom Park.

These benefits are in addition to the individual pass benefits.

Prices

When the passes become available again, they will be at the same prices as before, which are as follows:

  • Pixie Dust Pass: (Florida Residents only): $399 + tax
  • Pirate Pass: (Florida Residents only): $749 + tax
  • Sorcerer Pass: (Florida Residents and DVC Members only): $969 + tax
  • Incredi-Pass: $1,399 + tax

My family of 2 and our daughter’s family of 4 will be purchasing the Sorcerer Passes. We are very much looking forward to being able to visit Disney World once again. We would love to know when the tickets actually go on sale on April 20th, if you can please give us that information.

    1. Unfortunately, Walt Disney World hasn’t given an exact time, but traditionally they use the “no earlier than 9am ET” rule when selling passes and tickets. I would say check at midnight ET on April 20, and then again around 9am ET. If I hear of a more specific time, I will update this post.

  2. Thank you, Michelle, for your input. I’ll continue to follow this blog for further information, as it is released.
