As part of the reimaging of Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and Villas at Walt Disney World, the resort has announced its Concierge Lounge will be closing for refurbishment starting Saturday, March 11, 2023.
The Details
Disney says the Concierge Lounge will be closed through the end of April 2023 for this refurbishment.
Guests will hear the sounds of work being done in surrounding areas during daytime hours, while any nighttime refurbishment work done should not be audible to in the guest rooms.

Disney is really going over every inch of the Boardwalk Inn and VIllas, which originally opened July 1, 1996.
The lobby of the BoardWalk Inn recently underwent a minor refurbishment, and nearby Carousel Coffee opened just off the lobby area in December 2022, offering coffee, tea, and baked goods for a quick pick-me-up.
On the Boardwalk itself, Boardwalk Deli opened August 2022, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, along with pastries, and The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers will be opening a table service restaurant and bakery later this year in the spot that formerly housed the ESPN Club.
