Last month Disney offered a first look at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, and now we know when it will open.
Opening and Reservation Dates
Disney says The Villas at Disneyland Hotel will open to guests on September 28, 2023.
While that is a little over six months away, we have some more important dates to keep in mind: when reservations open.
If you’re interested in staying at this new DVC resort at Disneyland Resort, here are the dates that you can start making reservations:
- Wednesday, March 15 – Disney Vacation Club Members can begin to make rental reservations by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800
- Thursday, March 16 – Disneyland Resort Magic Key holders can start booking rental reservations by contacting (714) 956-6425
- Friday, March 17 – All guests can make rental reservations online at Disneyland.com/VillasDisneylandHotel or by contacting (714) 956-6425.
Disney adds the disclaimer that The Villas are limited in availability and are subject to restrictions and change without notice.
About The Villas
The Villas at Disneyland Hotel will be the fourth tower at the AAA Four Diamond, landmark Disneyland Hotel, located just steps from the Downtown Disney District, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
The DVC resort is designed to celebrate the magic of creativity and storytelling through a blend of contemporary designs and carefully curated pieces inspired by the stories, characters and worlds of Disney Animation.
It will have 344 “whimsically themed” rooms, including duo studios, deluxe studios, one- and two-bedroom villas, and grand villas.
The lobby will feature a one-of-a-kind mural created exclusively for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel by Disney Animation artist Lorelay Bové, known for her work on classics from “The Princess and the Frog” to “Encanto.”
Each room includes modern just-like-home amenities with touches of Disney magic sprinkled throughout, all themed to Walt Disney Animation Studios films like “The Jungle Book,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Fantasia,” and more.
When not at the parks, Guests can enjoy a palette-shaped pool flanked by cabanas and a poolside bar offering delicious drinks and treats. Guests also have access to all the amazing amenities at the Disneyland Hotel, including whirlpool spas, 3 more pools, and a new state-of-the-art fitness center.

I held online for 1.5 hours to be told we cannot use points during the grand opening. The young lady tried to re-route me to another area to book one of the NEW VILLAS for cash. The HOLD time was going to be a little under 2 hours.
as a club member this seems unacceptable.
