ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ Spotlights New ‘Tron Lightcycle Run’ Opening at Magic Kingdom Spring 2023

As a Christmas morning treat, ABC’s “Good Morning America” aired a sneak peek at the new “Tron Lightcycle Run” attraction that is scheduled to open at Walt Disney World in Spring 2023.

The show aired an abbreviated Sunday morning episode on December 25, live from Magic Kingdom, just prior to ABC’s airing of “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.”

The weekend anchors, Whit Johnson, Eva Pilgrim, and Janai Norman, were set up early morning in front of the castle, which was a lovely sight.

They then showed footage of the anchors actually getting to experience the attraction, from the loading area until the end, in some really cool “Tron” jackets.

Viewers got to see a lot of the expressions on the anchors’ faces on the indoor portions of the track, which looks really cool, I think, as well as some actual shots of them riding on the outdoor track portion of the attraction.
