Today is Disney+ Day 2022, and the streamer has surprised everyone with the release of a BTS concert film.
Permission to Dance
BTS, an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or “Beyond the Scene,” are a South Korean K-Pop band that have been capturing the hearts of millions of fans, known as the A.R.M.Y., globally since their debut in June 2013.
Late last year, the GRAMMY®-nominated group, comprised of members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, performed a string of sold-out concerts at Los Angeles SoFi Stadium, thrilling thousands of fans.
Those concerts, held Nov 27-28 & December 1-2, 2021, were recorded and the best performances of each song were edited together into this new concert film, “BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA.”
The concert film is stage-focused, and includes performances of the group’s hit songs “Dynamite,” “Butter” and “Permission to Dance,” among others.
The film is produced by HYBE, a Den of Thieves production, in association with Borderless Films. It is directed by Sam Wrench and Junsoo Park.
