Planning on visiting Walt Disney World next year? Today (June 8) 2023 tickets, Disney Resort hotel stays, and vacation packages open for guests to book.
Make sure you get your preferred hotel for the dates you want, especially during peak travel periods like holidays and summer.
Disney says the popular early theme park entry benefit for Disney Resort hotel guests will continue throughout all of 2023, so that’s an enticement to stay on property.
The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration will also be happening through March 2023, so there’s still time to plan your visit for early in the year.
Magicband+ and Genie+
MagicBand+ launches this summer (you’ll have to buy your own). Guests wearing the MagicBand+ will be able to access a new integration of the physical, digital, and virtual worlds on the Walt Disney World vacation for the resort’s 50th anniversary celebration and into the future.
Genie+ will also be available to guests in 2023, though starting today, June 8, guests can no longer purchase it in advance. The service will now only be available for purchase on a day by day basis during the visit.
Thinking Ahead
Even though Walt Disney World recently opened attractions like “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind” and “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure” at EPCOT, there’s still openings to look forward to for your 2023 visit, like the “TRON Lightcycle/Run” at Magic Kingdom.
This summer also sees the opening of new shows like “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…And Beyond!,” along with fan favorites like “Festival of the Lion King,” and “Hoop-Dee-Doo Review.”
Plus, when planning your Walt Disney World, be sure to include Disney’s Minnie Van service in your transportation plans, as it returns later this month to help you get around.
