Disney Garners Several Nominations at the 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards

2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards - Spiderman, Black Widow, Free Guy, Loki

Normally awards season ends with the Oscars, but MTV being MTV, they choose to hold their MTV Movie and TV Awards show at the beginning of June.

New this year, the unscripted and reality categories will have their own show, Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED, which will air the following night.

This year, Disney film and television projects have received several nods for awards, across both shows, all of which are voted on by the fans.

Marvel showed up strong with nominations for the films “Black Widow,” “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” and the Sony/Marvel collaboration, “Spiderman: No Way Home,” along with the series “Loki,” and “Moon Knight.”

Other Disney nods include Hulu’s “Pam and Tommy” and “Only Murders in the Building,” the 20th Century Studios’ “Free Guy” and “West Side Story,” and Disney Animation’s “Encanto.”

2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards + Unscripted

Fan voting is now open at vote.mtv.com through May 18, so find the full list of nominees below, then go make your voice heard. Their voting system is unusual as it gives you 10 votes per category that you can divide among the nominees. So you don’t have to vote for just one nominee per category. You can also vote daily

And there’s no age limit to vote, so feel free to talk about Bruno all you want…or at least vote for him.
