The First Day of the 30th Anniversary Celebration at Disneyland Paris

30th Anniversary Celebration at Disneyland Paris

This morning, Disneyland Paris kicked off its 30th Anniversary celebration with a parade and so much more.

The Disney Blog couldn’t be there in person, but thanks to the internet, we can still show you all the fun that was had by guests today.

I’ve put together a round-up of the best photos and videos I could find. Please be patient as it will take a bit for them to load.

Mickey and Minnie wave to guests as the parks open:

The new “Dream…and Shine Brighter” cavalcade and stage show kicked off the morning with the characters dressed in their new iridescent costumes. There is a mini-parade that takes them to a stage in front of the castle where they continue to celebrate.

Here is a video of the new show:

And some photos and short clips:

The new metallic “Gardens of Wonder” was a hit with guests, featuring artistic sculptures of many Disney characters:

The lines for 30th Anniversary food and drinks were a bit long, but guests showed off their bounty:

(look at that “30” etched onto the dried fruit slice above!)

Lines were also long to get into Flora’s Unique Boutique to purchase 30th Anniversary merchandise but there was plenty to buy:

Minnie Mouse was spotted in her new Stella McCartney pantsuit:

One of the biggest hits of the celebration so far is the new “Disney D-Light” night time show that precedes “Disney Illuminations”. It incorporates water jets into the show, as well as drones to draw the Mickey-ears “30” in the sky.

Here is a video of the full show:

And the “After Glow” show, which follows “Disney Illuminations”:

And here are some random photos and videos taken throughout the opening day of the 30th Anniversary celebration:

It looks like the 30th Anniversary Celebration is off to a great start! Are you planning to visit Disneyland Paris during the next year to enjoy the celebration? Let us know in the comments!
