Disney at Home Light Show celebrates Disneyland

Since we can’t visit the Happiest Place on Earth in person right now, a lot of fans have been trying to recreate a little of Disneyland’s magic at home on their own. Take Rick Car of El Paso, TX. We’ve featured his holiday themed light displays before and he’s created a new “Disneyland Forever” home light show to bring a little Disney magic into the world.

“We couldn’t go to Disney this year for obvious reasons. But I made this for my family to enjoy,” said Car. “It’s the only way to stay safe and enjoy a little piece of Disney. I hope it brings you a little joy during this time!”

You can watch it on YouTube here:

There are more than 50,000 lights and a digital projector used in programming the show. According to Car, sequencing the lights is the most difficult part of creating a show like this with every 30-60 seconds of music taking 1 hour to program.

What are you doing to make a little Disney at home magic? Let us know in the comments!
