Magic Kingdom testing exclusive Princess greeting with Memory Maker purchase

cinderella-meet-mk

The elusive Princess photo can be one of the more difficult memories to score while on your Walt Disney World vacation. When you’re at the Magic Kingdom, either you commit a Fastpass+ for a character at the Princess Fairytale Hall or you commit an hour or more of standby time. EPCOT is really the better park with Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, Queen Elsa, Anna, and often Aurora all available in the park usually with little or no wait.

To help even things out a bit, Disney is testing a bonus for Memory Maker purchasers. From August 7 – 31 they can visit Heritage House in Liberty Square between 11am and 5:40pm and have an encounter with a Disney Princess. Only one member of the party needs to have a valid Memory Maker purchase in order for your group to enjoy this Character experience.

Note: Heritage House is the future home of a Muppets themed show for Magic Kingdom. So if this test works it will likely be relocated if the program continues.

Memory Maker works in conjunction with the Magic Band and Disney’s Photopass service. It includes unlimited downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos, select attraction photos and videos, select Disney character dining photos, discounts on prints of your photos, and Magic Shots. Save money by adding Memory Maker to your Walt Disney World vacation in advance (at least 4 days ahead is recommended) and save $20 off the cost of $169. Once you activate Memory Maker you have 30 days to capture photos and videos. All photos in Photopass expire 45 days from the date they are taken.

  1. If you got an image as beautiful as the one posted here, it would be worth it. Normal photopass photography is pitiful.

  2. I ordered memory maker $169.00 and I was disappointed. I was never posed. Cinderella looked like she had not eaten in years and closed her eyes in most pics. This was my dream pic and blah. I had dne the Princess Run and dressed as Cinderella. Anyhow waste of money. Maybe this new way will be better.
I wish I knew princesses were at Epcot. I asked but was not told. Workers just shrug. There should be a Visiting Disney college course with all the ins and outs.
