Downtown Disney musicians impromptu, soulful video of “Let it Go” from Disney’s Frozen

Update: Sadly, Disney has restricted the video on youtube by setting it private. I hope they make it public again soon. In the meantime. Check out these other “Let it Go” covers we’ve posted on The Disney Blog

When you walk through Downtown Disney in Orlando, how often do you stop to listen to the live musicians Disney has invited to play for guests? There are usually nine different talented groups booked to play throughout the evening and night, so you’ll frequently encounter more than one group during your visit.

I’ve always been impressed with the quality Disney is able to find and even bought a CD or two. But don’t take my word for it. After inclement weather forced them inside, a group of Downtown Disney performers made a beautiful impromptu ‘jam’ version of “Let it Go” from Disney’s Frozen. Check out the video:

I guess the rain never bothered them anyway. Featured in the video are Drey-C, Bryan Malpass, Karlton Tillman, Mitch Corbin, Nicholas Marks and Don Black. None of them had worked on the material prior to this recording, which makes this video all that more remarkable.

What did you think?

  1. Too bad it got taken down. It was also posted on the official DisneyParks blog, and it’s gone from there too.
