Africanized Tribal Cover of Frozen’s Let It Go – Videopolis

There have been hundreds of thousands, and I’m not exaggerating, of covers of the songs from Disney’s hit animated feature Frozen posted to YouTube. So far, I’ve resisted post any. If I post one, there are countless others that are just as good that I would feel bad about not posting. But today’s video is different.

It features Alex Boyé, The One Voice Children’s Choir, and eleven year old Lexi Walker who has one of those voices that sounds like it comes from someone much older. The Africanized tribal beats added to “Let it Go” meld perfectly together with the Disney version too.

In case you were wondering, that was filmed at the Ice Castles venue in Midway, Utah.  Anyone sense a little The Lion King vibe there? Do you smell cross over?
