Dancing with the Stars 8-8: Another Injury and Team Dance Time

Tonight, the six remaining couples dance two routines for scores for the first time. Of course, the second set of scores comes from the team dance. This is only the second time they’ve done the team dance thing, and it really made things interesting last year. I’m curious to see how it will play out tonight when we get Team Tango and Team Mambo.

Dancing with the Stars 8-7: Big Group Number Time

The stars thought they had it hard until now. But at this point in the competition, they are responsible for two dances a night. Of course, tonight the second dance is just the 60’s themed group dance. (Just, he says. As if he ever had to do it. And yes, Mark is now referring to himself in the third person. At least until this paragraph ends.)

And we can’t forget that the stars actually designed the costumes this week. So far, I don’t notice too much out of the ordinary except for Edyta. Dancing with the Stars 8-5: Viennese Waltz and Paso Doble

With two stars eliminated last week, we are down to 9 stars and an hour and a half. My DVR can catch a bit of a break on Monday nights. But we still have a long ways to go, so let’s get down to tonight’s action.

I do find it funny we are doing the Viennese Waltz since we did a regular Waltz in week one. I’m a little unclear about the differences between the two, so that’s part of why it seems funny to me.
