New Extended Trailer from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

If you weren’t able to make it out to the 17 minute IMAX preview of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, you really missed out. Consider yourself lucky that you won’t have to wait until August 1st to see some of the footage from that special event. Marvel and Disney have released the new trailer that has a ton of new footage from the film. It’s the same preview we saw at the end of the 17 minutes.

This makes it a lot clearer that GotG is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe,. which I think will help attract a lot of Marvel Avenger fans who just want to see what’s up.

Magic Kingdom Plaza / Hub Construction Update – July 2014

Since it’s been awhile since the Plaza redo was announced, I thought I’d start the video off with a look at the concept art Disney released. Unlike other videos of the project, this time there’s more than just some dirt that’s been pushed around. The Adventureland side of the hub has actual construction with what looks like a concrete footing having been laid for what will eventually support the parade and fireworks viewing garden.

Also interesting to note that there is now an earthen dam holding the water back on the Tomorrowland side instead of the giant black rubber inflatable dam that never really succeeded in holding back the water. This version is a little better at it’s job.

Epcot Food & Wine Festival “Eat To The Beat” Concert Series Band List

One of the many pleasures associated with EPCOT’s annual Food & Wine Festival Five is the ability to sip and nibble on fine food and drink why listening to some talented musicians from yesterday and today. This year at the “Eat to the Beat” concert series 17 fan-favorite bands are joined by 5 new acts to complete a lineup with music from nearly every genre.

New-to-the-festival bands Jo Dee Messina, Fuel, Jim Brickman, Los Lonely Boys and David Cook — and 17 returning acts including Sister Hazel, Hanson and Boyz II Men — will rock the America Gardens Theatre stage during concerts at 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m. daily. (Schedule may vary.)
