Marvel Drops New Trailer and Posters for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’

Marvel

A little over three months until “Deadpool & Wolverine” debuts in theaters, and Marvel has dropped another trailer and posters for the film.

The Details

It started with a teaser trailer for the trailer the night before focusing on Hugh Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine over the years.

And this morning, the full-length trailer dropped for “Deadpool and Wolverine.”

The Trailer

It’s obvious from the beginning of the trailer that Wolverine definitely doesn’t want any part of what Deadpool has in mind, as a massive battle between the two breaks out.

But eventually, things change. Deadpool just has a way of growing on people.

This trailer also offers a better look at Cassandra Nova (played by Emma Corrin), the evil twin sister of X-Men leader Charles Xavier, who is the villain of the film.

Are you ready? In the words of both Deadpool and Wolverine, “Let’s F’in Go!” (only this trailer isn’t censored, so watch at your own risk):

The Film

Ryan Reynolds reprises his iconic role of Deadpool, in an adventure that sees him partner with the reluctant Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), and Marvel’s Time Variance Authority led by an agent named Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen), who will be battling against Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin).

Nothing is known of the plot beyond this, but it will feature cameos from many other Marvel characters (though they may be multi-verse versions).

Shawn Levy is the film’s director, with Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy credited as co-writers.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” is set to arrive in theaters on July 26, 2024, and I’m predicting it will be the movie of the summer.
