9-1-1

Kicking off the night at 8pm EDT/7 CDT, “9-1-1” makes its move from Fox to ABC for its seventh season.

The series explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders — including police officers, firefighters and dispatchers — who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations, while trying to deal with their lives outside of work.

This season kicks off with a three-part honeymoon cruise from hell for Bobby (Peter Krause) and Athena (Angela Bassett) that is a nod to the classic 1972 disaster flick “The Poseidon Adventure.”

The series also stars Oliver Stark as Evan “Buck” Buckley, Kenneth Choi as Howie “Chimney” Han, Aisha Hinds as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Buckley, Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz and Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz.

Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, “9-1-1” is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision. Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, John J. Gray, Brad Buecker, Kristen Reidel, Juan Carlos Coto and Lyndsey Beaulieu also serve as executive producers. Minear also serves as showrunner.
