‘Poor Things’ Wins Five Awards at 2024 BAFTA Film Awards

The 2024 BAFTA Film Awards were given out on Sunday, February 18, in London, and Searchlight Picture’s “Poor Things” walked away with five awards, including Leading Actress for Emma Stone.

The Walt Disney Company went into the event with several films nominated, including “All Us Strangers” (Searchlight Pictures), “Rye Lane” (Searchlight Pictures), “Elemental” (Pixar), “The Creator” (Searchlight Pictures), and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” (Marvel), but “Poor Things” was the only film to walk away with the hardware.

Currently “Poor Things” is only in theaters, but will be available to purchase on digital on February 27th. The rest of Disney’s nominees are available to watch either on Hulu or Disney+.
