The 51st Annie Awards were awarded on Saturday, February 17th, honoring excellence in the field of animation, and The Walt Disney Company received 8 nods.
Of those eight, Marvel’s “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” received three, and “Star Wars: Visions” received two. Also receiving awards were “Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire,” Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” and Marvel’s “Spider-Man 2” game.
Sadly, Pixar’s “Elemental,” which was nominated for six awards, was completely shut out in all of its categories.
