Tokyo Disney Resort has announced that a special event, “Dreaming of Fantasy Springs” will be presented at Tokyo DisneySea Park from April 9 through June 30, in anticipation of the grand opening of the new themed area, Fantasy Springs, on June 6, 2024.
The “Dreaming of Fantasy Springs” special event will feature the worlds of the three Walt Disney Animation Studios films – “Frozen,” “Tangled,” and “Peter Pan” – which inspired the three areas of Fantasy Springs.
Presented at Mediterranean Harbor will be “‘Fantasy Springs’ Special Greeting,” a harbor greeting featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and characters from the Disney Animation films “Frozen,” “Tangled,” and “Peter Pan.”
In “‘Fantasy Springs’ Special Greeting,” Mickey and Minnie, donning attire themed to the event, will express their excitement for Fantasy Springs, accompanied by memorable songs from Disney films.
In the latter part of this greeting, Donald Duck, Goofy and other Disney friends will make appearances aboard the DisneySea Transit Steamer Line, decorated with motifs of Fantasy Springs, as they inspire guests to become even more excited about the new lands to come.
Areas near the Park entrance and Mediterranean Harbor will also feature banners and decorations themed to the event, and special merchandise and menu items will also be available during the event period.
Original stickers inspired by the world of Fantasy Springs will also be distributed at the entrance and around Mediterranean Harbor.
As the grand opening of Fantasy Springs draws near, guests can join in the excitement by experiencing a countdown for the new themed area. This countdown will be showcased on a monitor in a shop window at Emporio, and after dark, an additional display will be available for viewing at the entrance of Passaggio MiraCosta.
Additionally, popcorn sold at select popcorn wagons will offer boxes designed with a number indicating the number of days left until the grand opening, bringing more excitement to Tokyo DisneySea as it prepares for the arrival of Fantasy Springs.
