Planning to visit Walt Disney World this spring? Disney just dropped dates for the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, along with initial details for the event.
The Dates
The 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will begin on February 28th and continue through May 27th, giving park guests 90 days to enjoy this fan-favorite event.
New Topiaries
One of the highlights of the festival are the topiaries shaped into Disney characters, and this year there will be several new ones to enjoy.
For the first time, a Groot topiary will appear near “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind” in World Discovery, celebrating everyone’s favorite wooden superhero.
Figment, who is an ambassador for the International Festival of the Arts happening at EPCOT right now will also appear in topiary form in the newly opened World Celebration Gardens.
Plus guests can look forward to viewing new topiaries from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Wish,” including Asha, Valentino and the Wishing Star, at the park’s main entrance.
And when in Mexico, keep an eye out for topiaries of Miguel and Dante from Disney Pixar’s “Coco.”
Returning Displays
Back this year, Butterfly Landing Presented by AdventHealth offers guests the chance to get up close and personal with some of nature’s most beautiful pollinators…butterflies! This walkthrough butterfly house highlights the life cycle of butterflies and contains valuable pollinator gardens.
Over at Blossoms of Fragrance Presented by Scentsy, follow your nose to create lasting memories with the help of unforgettable fragrances.
And if the little ones need to burn some energy, Camp Get Out N’ Play Garden Presented by OFF!, offers a camp-themed garden where kiddos can jump, play, climb and explore this area created just for them.
New Garden Rocks Bands
The full schedule hasn’t been announced yet, but Disney says this year’s Garden Rocks Concert Series will feature new bands such as Modern English, Crowder, Lit, Monsieur Perine, and Fonseca.
And for the first time, Raul Acosta & Oro Solido will share the stage with Magic Juan, then return the next day with Luisito Ayala and The Puerto Rican Power Band in a series of unforgettable performances.

Garden Rocks Dining Packages
While the Garden Rocks concerts are free to watch, they do get packed. The best way to guarantee a seat is to purchase a Garden Rocks Dining Package, and Disney says reservations for those will open February 6, 2024.
This year there are six restaurants accepting dining package reservations, and one offering same day dining packages:
- Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
- Biergarten Restaurant
- Coral Reef Restaurant
- Garden Grill Restaurant
- Rose & Crown Dining Room
- Le Cellier Steakhouse
- Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Brews & Barbecue (same-day, in-person walk-up packages only)

Outdoor Kitchens
It’s not an EPCOT festival without limited time food to sample, and the Outdoor Kitchens will once again be present at the International Flower & Garden Festival.
Disney says many guest favorites will return in 2024, like Chicken & Waffles at The Honey Bee-stro Hosted by the National Honey Board, along with the Muffuletta Panini at Magnolia Terrace, and the Chocolate Whisky Cake at Northern Bloom.

Scavenger Hunts
At this year’s festival, the whole family can enjoy two seasonal scavenger hunts.
Throughout the festival, follow Spike the Bee on his pollination trail where he’s “buzzing” to collect nectar from all the beautiful gardens with Spike’s Pollination Exploration.
Plus for a limited time, guests can hop around World Showcase for the Egg-stravaganza Hunt trying to find the twelve beautiful, bunny-inspired eggs that have been hidden.
Both scavenger hunt maps will be available for purchase while supplies last. Once your journey is complete – whether or not you find all the items – you can redeem your map at Disney Traders, Creations Shop or World Traveler at International Gateway for a special surprise.
Event Merchandise
Orange Bird will appear on many pieces of the official event merchandise that will be available for purchase.
Also appearing on items for the festival will be the characters from “Coco,” and a Butterfly Collection starring Minnie Mouse in a beautiful, flowery assortment.
Annual Passholders will also have access to a collection of merch featuring Spike the Bee.
Disney says select festival merchandise will also be coming to shopDisney March 4.
