The Disney Skyliner at Walt Disney World will be down for its annual refurbishment January 16-27, 2024, and here’s what that means for your visit during that time.

This routine maintenance for the Disney Skyliner is normal and necessary to make sure all components are in top working order.
The entire Disney Skyliner route will be closed from January 16th through 21st for refurbishment, but the segment that connects Disney’s Riviera Resort with the International Gateway entrance at EPCOT will be closed longer, though January 27th.
During this time period, alternative transportation will be provided to guests by Disney buses. Due to the bus system having different timetables than the Skyliner, guests at affected hotels should budget in extra time to get around.
Minnie vans are another transportation option on property, though there is a fee for using them.
