Disney Branded Films and Series Nab 68 Saturn Awards Nominations

It is turning out to be a very good year for Disney at the Saturn Awards, as its films and TV series picked up 68 nominations.

The Saturn Awards honor the best of genre-focused entertainment, like sci-fi, fantasy, and horror, and Disney racked up most of its nominations with Star Wars, Marvel, and Avatar titles.

Leading on the film side is “Avatar: The Way of Water,” which scored 12 nominations overall — two more than the original Avatar got here in 2010.

On the TV side, Lucasfilm/Disney’s “Andor” lead the Disney nominees with five nominations.

Winners of the 51st Saturn Awards will be announced February 4, 2024 in a ceremony at the LA Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel. The ceremony will stream live on on the free channel ElectricNow.
