“The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” returns to ABC on November 26, 2023, to kick off a line-up of festive programming on the network, and here’s who you can expect to see.


The Details

Siblings Julianne Hough and Derek Hough return as hosts from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida for this special, which will feature performances from Ariana DeBose, Michael Bolton, Mickey Guyton, Adam Blackstone, Andra Day, Chris Janson, Tori Kelly, Chrissy Metz, Iam Tongi, The Smashing Pumpkins, and more.

Plus, special appearances from D.J. Khaled and Chris Pine.

Filmed at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort, with special performances from Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai‘i, and aboard Disney Cruise Line, the holiday show will also offer special looks at what’s new around The Walt Disney Company.

Plus, they’ll be promoting Disney Animation’s all-new musical comedy, “Wish,” only in theaters today, Nov. 22, 2023.

“The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” will air on ABC on Sunday, Nov. 26 from 8-10pm EST, and will be available to stream the next day on Hulu and Disney+.

  1. I wouldn’t have expected Robin Thicke to be someone who fit the Disney image, considering his past history and lack of morals and ethics.

  3. Great performances by all, really enjoyed the entire show it’s a shame there was no kudos to the band that played for most of the acts. The lead guitarist was really making it fun to watch and the drummer, he smiled the entire time I really enjoyed watching him drum. Who is he? His performance was near and dear to my heart as my Grandfather was a drummer and had his own orchestra back in the Ricky Ricardo days in Pittsburgh PA!

    1. Sorry Karen – none of the press materials list the backing band or even the dancers. The show is now streaming on on Hulu and Disney+, so it’s possible they’re listed in the credits.
