Disney+ is closing out 2023 with a strong line-up of movies, series, and more.

The iconic adventurer Indiana Jones kicks off December with the debut of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” and a behind-the-scenes special, “Timeless Heroes: Indiana Jones & Harrison Ford.”

Season one of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” debuts at the end of the month with two episodes, as does season two of Marvel Studios’ “What If…?,” which will air its nine episodes over nine days.

The second and third of the three Doctor Who specials, “Wild Blue Yonder” and “The Giggle,” reunite the Fourteenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Donna Temple-Noble (Catherine Tate). Then on Christmas Day, the “Doctor Who Holiday Special: The Church on Ruby Road” will premiere, the first to feature the new 15th Doctor and his companion.

The Santa Clauses” series airs its season two finale this month, while the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever” film debuts.

The limited series “The Shepherd” tells the story of a young pilot saved by a mysterious good Samaritan.

Disney+ Spain offers Spanish celebrity Isabel Preysler hosting a two-part Christmas special, while Disney+ South Korea offers the romantic drama series sequel “Soundtrack #2.”

December also sees the debut of the docuseries “BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star,” tracking K-Pop group BTS over their career.

Dancing With The Stars” hosts its 32nd season finale this month, so tune in to see who wins the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

Finally, there will be the addition of several catalog titles from the Disney Channel, ABC, Disney Junior, and more.

Friday, December 1

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (Premiere)

The fifth installment in the Indiana Jones franchise finds the iconic adventurer about to retire from teaching, when he is thrust into a final adventure by his god-daughter Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) to find the Dial of Destiny.


The Shepherd (Premiere)

In this short film, on Christmas Eve, a young RAF pilot (Ben Radcliffe) flying home across the North Sea finds himself in peril when his radio and electric power cut out, leaving him stranded and running on limited fuel. Just when it appears his luck is about to run out, a mysterious good Samaritan (John Travolta) guides him to safety.


Timeless Heroes: Indiana Jones & Harrison Ford (Premiere)

Harrison Ford returns to the role of the legendary hero archaeologist, Indiana Jones, for this highly anticipated final installment of the iconic franchise – a big, globe-trotting, rip-roaring adventure!

Doctor Who: Wild Blue Yonder – Episode 5 (Premiere)

The three specials, “The Star Beast” (Nov. 25), “Wild Blue Yonder” (Dec. 2) and “The Giggle” (Dec. 9) will reunite the Fourteenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Donna Temple-Noble (Catherine Tate) as they come face-to-face with their most terrifying villain yet: the Toymaker (played by Neil Patrick Harris in his “Doctor Who” debut).
