A special announcement was made at Destination D23 that “Soarin’ Over California” will be returning to EPCOT for a limited time in honor of #Disney100.
The Details
The #Disney100 celebration kicks off at EPCOT on September 22, 2023, which will be the first day guests will be able to enjoy “Soarin’ Over California” at the Land Pavilion in World Nature.
It sends guests on a sweeping flyover above the wondrous Golden State (California) for a birds-eye view of the rich landscape and topography.
Disney has not yet given any indication of how long it will be available at EPCOT, though the #Disney100 celebration at the park is set to run through December 31, 2023.
About Soarin’
“Soarin’ Over California” was an opening-day attraction at Disney California Adventure on February 8, 2001, and was brought to EPCOT in 2005.
Though a new global version of the attraction, “Soarin’ Around the World,” has been shown to guests at EPCOT since 2016, “Soarin’ Over California” has been in regular rotations at Disney California Adventure since an initial limited engagement in June 2019 and often appears as part of the park’s annual “Food and Wine Festival” in the spring.
