‘Elemental’ Director Peter Sohn Takes Tour of Disneyland’s Pixar Place Hotel

'Elemental' Director Peter Sohn Takes Tour of Disneyland's Pixar Place Hotel

Director Peter Sohn, who has helmed Pixar films such as “Elemental,” was recently invited to take a tour of the new Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland Resort.

The Details

Disneyland Resort is currently in the process of transforming Disney’s Paradise Pier hotel into the Pixar Place Hotel, and Sohn takes a quick tour of some newly updated areas of the hotel.

The hotel continues to welcome guests during the transformation, with many Pixar-themed design elements being added to public areas such as the lobby, which will eventually have the Pixar Lamp playfully balancing atop its ball.

Outside, families will soon be able to enjoy a “Finding Nemo”-inspired water play area, and a family play court inspired by Pixar’s famous short films.

A new restaurant, SoCal brand Great Maple, will also be offering guests delicious food for breakfast through dinner.
