Today, May 4th, is also “Star Wars Day 2023,” and to mark the occasion, Disney Parks is streaming both the new album from the Galactic Starcruiser’s Gaya, and a listening party curated by Star Tours’ DJ R-3X.
Gaya
Gaya, also known as “Rockstar Queen of Ryloth,” entertains Guests aboard the Halcyon Galactic Starcruiser, and has garnered quite a fandom.
Now the best of her music has been compiled for a new release, and starting May 4, fans across the galaxy will be able to stream her music through the holonet for the first time ever.
Gaya’s new album…also known as the “Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Original Soundtrack”…is now streaming at several different sources, including Apple Music, Amazon, and Spotify.
It contains eleven songs, with guest appearances by Cassus Yissik, Rebel Bass, Lucky Ferrariss, Funky Futurists, and Barūbarū.
DJ R-3X
From Oga’s Cantina at Galaxy’s Edge, everyone’s favorite beatmaster DJ R-3X is hosting an all day “Star Wars May The 4th Listening Party” which will be streaming “the latest hits from around the galaxy” on YouTube for 24 hours.
He’s spinning some Cantina Band tunes as I write this.
