Disney “Mickey and Friends” Happy Meal toys are now available at McDonald’s, though they are different from the usual offerings.
A teaser image has been up on McDonald’s Happy Meals site for several days regarding the new Disney collaboration, but the company has finally revealed the toys.
There are six toys available in this set of Happy Meal offerings:
Three of them are double-sided posters feaaturing puzzle games on one side, along with stickers that can be applied, and a crayon to do the puzzles. They are themed to Mickey, Mickey and Minnie, and Mickey, Donald, and Goofy.
Here are videos showing each poster:
The other three are decks of cards. One side of the cards features images of the four Walt Disney World park icons: Cinderella’s Castle, Spaceship Earth, the Tower of Terror, and the Tree of Life. I find this an interesting design choice since the set is about Disney characters, not Walt Disney World.
The other side of the cards features images of Mickey and his friends, and each of the three decks features the characters shown in different image styles.
Here are videos showing each deck of cards:
As always, these Disney Mickey and Friends toys will be included with Happy Meals while supplies last.
To be honest, I’m surprised the toys aren’t figurines of the characters, but I guess they wanted something more interactive. I think the card decks look more fun to play with. Let us know what you think in the comments.
The McDonald’s Happy Meal website at HappyMeal.com also has some free downloadable “Mickey and Friends” activity sheets for the kids.
