Dsney says it will live stream special performances, behind-the-scenes looks at the new entertainment, fun Disney trivia, and more.

How to Watch

The ‘Disney 100″ Celebration livestream will take place Friday, January 27, at 2pm PT/3pm MT/4pm CT/5pm ET.

Guests can tune in at the Disney Parks Blog, as well as on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

The Celebration

As we’ve mentioned previously, the ‘Disney 100” Celebration will kick off at Disneyland, which was Walt’s first park, beginning on January 27.

Two new nighttime spectaculars will debut:

World of Color – ONE” at Disney California Adventure which is the first Disneyland Resort nighttime spectacular to feature characters, music and moments from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, the Avengers and Star Wars in the same production.

World of Color – ONE Disney 100

Wondrous Journeys” at Disneyland Park which will take Guests on an epic adventure through 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios storytelling, with fireworks on select nights.

Disney 100 Wonderous Journey

Disneyland will get its very own “Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway” attraction on January 27, which is part of a larger Mickey’s Toontown reimagining (which reopens March 8).

Inside the El CapiTOON Theater (which houses an exhibit unique to Disneyland), this family-friendly experience transports you into the wacky and unpredictable cartoon world of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, where you’ll board a train engineered by Goofy and embark on a zany adventure.

It will use a virtual queue when it first opens, with registration times at 7am and 1pm daily on the Disneyland app, along with having an Individual Lightning Lane option. There will be no traditional standby on opening day.

Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway

The Disney Gallery on Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland park will house a new exhibit called “Disney 100 Years of Wonder,” inspired by Walt Disney’s vision for Disneyland to be where his films come to life.

Inside you’ll see beautiful artwork created by original Disney animators for some of Walt’s early films, alongside artwork concepted by original Disney Imagineers to recreate those stories in the park, and memorabilia from Walt’s life.

It’s not a Disney celebration without food and drink, and you can check out our foodie guide to Disney 100 at Disneyland Resort for the details, including novelty souvenirs like glow cubes and popcorn buckets.

Plus, even more experiences and attractions are coming as part of Disney 100, including the return of the “Magic Happens” Parade on February 24, and there will be plenty of merchandise to remember the celebration throughout the year.
