“The Mandalorian” Season 3 Gets Disney+ Premiere Date at CCXP2022

The Mandalorian

Yesterday during Brazil Comic Con (CCXP2022), “The Mandalorian” was given a Season 3 premiere date on Disney+, as creator Jon Favreau, executive producer Dave Filoni, and series star Pedro Pascal held court on stage.

The Date

In drumming up excitement for the third season, the trio revealed the series will premiere all-new episodes beginning on March 1, 2023 on Disney+.

A very un-Mandalorian looking Pascal helped spread the news to the huge crowd at CCXP2022:

Season Three

When we last saw Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) at the end of “The Book of Boba Fett,” the Armorer (Emily Swallow) told him that he “is a Mandalorian no more,” because he had removed his helmet and shown his face to others.

He has Grogu in tow, but is now facing other challenges, including Bo-Katan Kryze (Katie Sackhoff), as he attempts to reclaim his status as a Mandalorian.

Also returning this season are Carl Weathers (Greef Karga) and Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon). Christopher Lloyd is confirmed to guest star this season, as well.

The first teaser for the new season dropped at D23 Expo 2022 earlier this year, with a glimpse at Bo-Katan on the throne of Mandalore, the return of Greef Karga and Peli Motto, and a battalion of Mandalorian warriors.

Until the season debuts, you can also find Din Djarin and Grogu hanging out at “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” at Disneyland.
