Returning Character Experiences Coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Sept.

Walt Disney World has announced more character experiences are returning to Disney’s Animal Kingdom starting September 4, 2022.

Here are the characters and where you’ll find them:

Dino-mite!

What’s cuter than seeing your favorite characters dressed up in outfits and costumes?

Well Disney says Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Chip ‘n’ Dale will all be returning to DinoLand U.S.A., and they’ll be dressed in their best dino outfits (see photo up top).

A New Floatilla

One of the fun things at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is seeing the character flotillas that cruise down Discovery River, and word comes there will be a new one to watch out for.

Beginning Sept. 4, keep an eye on the water for the brand-new “Adventure Flotilla,” where you may spot Launchpad McQuack and Scrooge McDuck from Disney’s “DuckTales” setting sail, or Russell and Dug from Disney and Pixar’s “UP” exploring the wilderness.

Grabbing a reservation for a table outdoors at the Nomad Lounge for a drink or bite is a great place to spot flotillas.

Recent Returns

These character appearances join other recent returns like Mickey and Minnie at the Adventurers Outpost, as well as shows like “Festival of the Lion King” and the restructured “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!”
