Marvel Reveals New ‘She-Hulk’ Trailer, Poster, and More

She-Hulk

Marvel went all out all weekend at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC22), and during the event, they released a new trailer, poster, and an interactive marketing promotion for the upcoming “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” series on Disney+

In the week following, they’ve released a featurette video that sheds even more light on show cameos and more.

Let’s unpack it all.

The Trailer

In this new trailer, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) and her cousin Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) obviously have a slightly antagonistic relationship following her receiving his powers.

Especially as he tries to train her. “Spandex is your best friend,” he coaches her.

Now a superhero, she is tasked by her law firm to head up a new division specializing in defending other superheroes. One of them is Emil Blonsky aka Abomination (Tim Roth), who is the archenemy of Banner’s Hulk.

We then see Wong (Benedict Wong) come through a portal to meet with her about a crisis he’s dealing with.

MCU fans will remember Wong and Abomination together in the Chinese fighting club in “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.”

In its final moments, She-Hulk battles a mysterious suited figure on a rooftop. The weapons they use happen to be the same weapons used by Daredevil (Charlie Cox), who just got confirmed to be headlining his own series in Marvel’s upcoming Phase 5.

As his alter-ego is attorney Matt Murdock, it makes sense for him to appear in this series, as well.

This trailer also shows the series has a very comedic feel to it, even breaking the fourth wall at one point.

Take a look:

The Featurette

The first thing the featurette video shows is that Marvel is changing Jennifer’s Hulk origin story.

In the comics, she receives a blood transfusion from Bruce to save her life after she was shot.

In the series, it appears she will accidentally get some of his blood in her wounds after they are in a car accident together.

Jennifer is not happy about her new Hulk powers, as she just wants to be a regular lawyer.

In the featurette, we also see more of She-Hulk’s adversary, Titania (Jameela Jamil), as well as Jennifer’s best friend Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga), and fellow lawyer Mallory (Renée Elise Goldsberry).

The Posters

The poster revealed at SDCC22 show Jennifer sitting on a park bench with a She-Hulk lawyer advertisement.

A newer poster features a phone number on it. Out of curiosity I called it and got a recording of Jennifer trying to set up her law office answering machine with unwanted help from Bruce. Pre-internet, a lot of movie promotions included a phone number for fans to call, and it’s cool that Marvel is utilizing it for this series.
