Disney Characters Old and New Returning to Walt Disney World This Summer

Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary - characters

One of the highlights of a Disney vacation is meeting favorite Disney characters, and Disney Parks just announced a bunch of them will be coming to Walt Disney World this summer.

Some will be in cavalcades and some guests can get close enough to hug, and a favorite pair will even be back hosting an evening event.

Here are the Disney characters that will be coming to the Walt Disney World parks and resorts in the next few months:

June 26

Mirabel from “Encanto” will make her debut in the “Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade” on June 26.

She will join Miguel from “Coco,” Nick and Judy from “Zootopia,” Max, Goofy, Moana, and more as this super-sized cavalcade winds through the park several times each day.

In the coming months, a visit to Magic Kingdom Park will bring chances to meet Aladdin, Jasmine, Merida, Pooh, Tigger, along with Storybook Circus pals like The Great Goofini in Pete’s Silly Sideshow.

Andy’s toys will also soon be ready for playtime in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Plus, Donald Duck and friends will rejoin their prehistoric party at “Donald’s Dino-Bash!” in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

With the return of these Disney characters, along with entertainment like “Festival of the Lion King” and “Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue,” there will be so much more to do and see at Walt Disney World heading into 2023.
