Yesterday we told you about a secret live stream from Disney Parks that would be held last night, and we were right about our guess…it was a preview viewing of the “Main Street Electrical Parade” live from Disneyland.
Viewers were greeted with a message showing parade graphics as we waited for the parade to start. It began about 10 minutes late, but it was fun watching the live stream of all the people on Main Street U.S.A. who were waiting with us.
Then the lights dimmed, and the “Main Street Electrical Parade” started, with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy on the first float.
Here are some photos from the live stream:
Following the “Pete’s Dragon” Elliott float came the new addition to the parade featuring a mixture of Disney and Pixar film characters in animatronic doll form that reminded me a lot of “it’s a small world.”

It was a lot of fun getting to watch it here in Orlando, but unfortunately it disappeared after the live stream was over. I’m hoping Disney Parks uploads it for permanent viewing on their YouTube channel (as of this early morning posting, it hadn’t been).
In the meantime, here is a short recap video:
The “Main Street Electrical Parade” returns to Disneyland on April 22, along with the “Disneyland Forever” fireworks spectacular. Plus “World of Color” also returns to Disney California Adventure April 22, too.
If you’re planning on seeing the parade, there is a “Main Street Electrical Parade” dining package available that includes entrance to a reserved viewing area. There are also a bunch of new treats inspired by the parade to try, too.
Did you watch the live stream last night? If so, let me know what you thought.
