Marvel Releases New ‘Moon Knight’ Featurette Video and Character Posters

Moon Knight

Less than 3 weeks out from its debut, Marvel Studios and Disney+ have released a new featurette for the upcoming “Moon Knight” series, along with a trio of poster images.

The featurette is a short look at the series with many new scenes that haven’t been featured in past trailers from the show, interspersed with brief interview clips with show stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and May Calamawy, along with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige.

If you’re trying to save yourself from spoilers, this featurette is still safe to watch.

Marvel Studios also released three posters showing different looks of Isaac as Stephen/Marc and Moon Knight.

“Moon Knight” stars actor Oscar Isaac as Steven Grant who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector (also played by Isaac).

Left near death by fellow mercenaries, Khonshu, the Egyptian God of the Moon, saves his life, and in return uses Spector as its earthly champion, Moon Knight.

Hawke plays Arthur Harrow, who in the series appears to be a cult-like leader. In the comics, Harrow is a talented surgeon and scientist, whose work in medicine lead his to be nominated for a Nobel Prize, but it turned out he was conducting secret experiments on people.

Calamawy plays Layla El-Faouly, a friend of Marc Spector, and a new character in the “Moon Knight” story.

The series also stars F. Murray Abraham as Khonshu, and French actor Gaspard Ulliel as Anton Mogart, also known as “Midnight Man” in the comics.

“Moon Knight” debuts on Disney+ March 30, 2022.
