Panda Express Partners with Disney/Pixar for ‘Turning Red’ Panda Cub Meal Sweepstakes

Pixar - Turning Red

Panda Express restaurants have partnered with Disney and Pixar’s latest film, “Turning Red,” for a Panda Cub Meal promotion, including a sweepstakes.

In 2021, Panda Express introduced the new Panda Cub Meals, created based on the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) dietary recommendations for children. Staying on top of the latest in nutrition science, Panda Cub Meals are approved by the National Restaurant Association’s Kids LiveWell™ Program.

Each of the three available meals offers an excellent source of fiber, at least 11 grams of protein, one serving of fruit, and comes with Treetop Apple Crisps, as well as a choice of water or juice.

In honor of the movie, Panda Express worked with Disney and Pixar to create an exclusive “Turning Red” packaging and sticker sheet (while supplies last) that comes with the purchase of a Panda Cub Meal.

Giant red panda in a room with three other characters who look befuddled to see it there

Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red” introduces Mei Lee (voice of Rosalie Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (voice of Sandra Oh), is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. As if changes to her interests, relationships, and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda!

Directed by Academy Award® winner Domee Shi (Pixar short “Bao”) and produced by Lindsey Collins, “Turning Red” streams on Disney+ beginning March 11, 2022.
