Walt Disney World just posted a notice on its website and in the app today that it is adjusting its face covering policy beginning on Thursday, February 17, 2022.
As of that date, face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated guests in both outdoor and indoor locations.
The only exception is that face coverings will still be required by all guests (ages 2 and up) on enclosed Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner.
Those who are not vaccinated (and please don’t lie to get away with not wearing a mask) will still be required to wear face coverings in all indoor locations.
Here is the notice:
Are you happy about this new policy change? Will you still wear a mask indoors regardless? Let us know in the comments (and please keep it polite!).
I am SO happy! We arrive in 2 weeks and have been dreading the indoor mask requirement. So relieved.
